How to Use the Service

Feeder service is designed to provide trips where a bus does not go or when the trip by bus is difficult.

Use Feeder service fo​r:

  1. ​Trips to and from a bus stop
  2. Trips within a zone or from zone to zone when one end of the trip is not served by a bus.

Use Feeder service for the full trip when:

  1. Taking a passenger to the nearest bus stop results in a trip of about 2 miles or less on the bus.
  2. Taking a passenger to the nearest bus stop results in the passenger having to wait more than 10 minutes for the bus.

Feeder Service hours

5:30am to 7:00pm Monday through Friday
6:30am to 6:00pm Saturdays.​

Zones

The feeder service area is now split into two zones, with extended hours of operation. The boundary to each zone will have a 1/2 mile buffer around it to incorporate origins and/or destinations that abut the boundary.

Zone 1 Boundaries

North/South: 37th Street North and ​Maple

West/East: Maize Road and Big Ditch/Hoover Road

Zone 2​​​​​ Boundaries

North/South: Maple and MacArthur

West/East: Maize Road/West Street

Reserve a Trip

​​All trips must be reserved by 11:00am the day before the trip and reservations can be made up to 7 days in advance. Subscription trips for work purposes will be accommodated. Drivers will only wait 5 minutes for passengers to board upon arrival.

To schedule trips, customers can call 316-352-4828 (Paratransit Services). Cancellations can be made through the same number and must be at least 1 hour before the scheduled pick-up or it will be considered a no-show. Four no-shows will result in a suspension of neighborhood feeder service for 30 days.​​
